1. Victory for Bedford Hills-Katonah Baseball

The Bedford Hills/Katonah 12 and Under summer travel travel team clinched the Westchester-Putnam Baseball Association Championship on Saturday, winning 7-6 over North Salem. Check back for some photos of the exciting contest.

2. Fresh Air Fund campers arrive in Northern Westchester

The Fresh Air Fund bus arrived in Westchester on Friday, delivering seven lucky children from New York City to local families waiting in the Goldens Bridge A&P plaza. They met up with their hosts for 10-day suburban and rural visits filled with activities like swimming and backyard camping. 5. Community Center re-opens tomorrow, school supplies needed

After a brief summer closure the Community Center of Northern Westchester re-opens tomorrow. They are still in need of Crayola Thin Tip Markers, “Classic Colors” and boxes of Crayola Jumbo Crayons for their school supplies drive.
