This three-bedroom corner apartment in Emery Roth's San Remo just hit the market for the first time in 35 years, and it's asking an impressive $25 million. The views of Central Park and the Boat Pond from the wraparound terrace are pretty spectacular, and despite its modern furnishings, most of the original details have been preserved, including Roth-designed master baths, plaster walls with bas-relief insets, elaborate moldings, tile bathrooms, and rose-hued marble floors. There are also 10' plaster ceilings, a refrigerated wine cellar, and a private elevator.
The apartment was formerly owned by Robert W. Wilson, the famed hedge fund pioneer/philanthropist, who donated hundreds of millions to a variety of charities before jumping to his death in December.
