Sometimes there’s no rhyme or reason to finding fame. Take, for example, Ali Landry, who launched her career by eating Doritos on a commercial during the ’98 Super Bowl. From there, Landry had a variety of film and television parts, as well as a brief marriage to Mario Lopez.
Her bit roles made it possible to buy a Spanish-style home in Los Feliz in 2004. She’s now hoisted the property, located at 3692 Lowry Rd, onto the market for $1.925 million.
According to property records, Landry bought the home shortly on the heels of her marriage annulment to Lopez. She’s now married to director Alejandro Monteverde, and the couple has two children together.
It could be her growing family that’s leading Landry to sell the 4-bed, 3,700-square-foot home.
Built in 1927, the house is described as having loads of Spanish detailing including tiles, stained glass windows, stone floors and an “authentic Mexican patio with fountain.”

U.S. state attorneys general are pressing four banks to accept a legal settlement over botched foreclosures similar to a deal reached with larger competitors this year, according to three people briefed on the matter.
