Dear Friends and Neighbors, This coming Tuesday, October 29th, at 7:00 pm, we will have the only debate for the upcoming election. The debate, sponsored by the League of Women Voters, will take place at: The North White Plains Community Center 10 Clove Road North White Plains, New York I encourage every North Castle voter to attend the debate. An informed citizenry is critical to our democracy at every level – from local to national -- and there is no substitute for a face-to-face debate. There are stark differences between myself and my opponent. I believe in funding improvements through more cost-efficient management; he believes in doing so through borrowing. I believe in using private sector companies as much as possible; he wants to increase the number of government employees thereby increasing our $125 million unfunded medical burden. I identified over one million dollars in cost savings and plowed those savings back into road and park improvements; he voted against every taxpayer savings that I proposed.
